Bruce came to ESWC seeking assistance after being laid off from his previous position due to a lack of work. While Bruce was receiving unemployment benefits, he expressed concerns regarding his employment and not financially supporting his family. He needed assistance to get into training that would help him become more employable.

Workforce Solution

He was enrolled in the WIOA Dislocated Worker program and co-enrolled in the RecoverCO program. Skills assessments and OSHA training were provided to Bruce to assist with his training efforts. Bruce was approved for the Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) training program at Sage Trucking.

Outcomes & Benefits

He completed his training in April 2021 and was able to find employment with the City of Greeley the same month with a starting pay rate of $19.50/hour.
