Participant was still in high school looking to complete nurse aide training as her long term goal was nursing. While she know that taking the course as a dual credit would save her family the cost of tuition they were not sure how to come up with the remaining training related costs.
Workforce Solution
Enrolled Keiah in the WIOA In school youth program. Was able to support the leverage WIOA monies for support services to cover the additional cost of the program.
Outcomes & Benefits
Keiah successfully complete high school and the nurse aide program. She is on track to entering into post secondary and has been accepted into a nursing program in the Fall 2021. Congratulation to her for the hard work and dedication. She will accomplish great things!
