Workforce Challenge
Xavier was behind in his high school classes. After trying to catch up on his own, he realized he would need a little extra help. He was referred to the WIA in-school program, where he talked to a WIA case manager and was enrolled in WIA services.
Workforce Solution
Once he was in the program, Xavier's case manager supported him every step of the way. "The people were amazing because they pushed me to believe in myself to finish school and work harder to graduate," said Xavier. With funding assistance from WIA, Xavier entered evening school in order catch up and graduate on time.
Outcomes & Benefits
Not only did Xavier graduate, but his grades improved dramatically his senior year. Today, Xavier is a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He still credits his WIA case manager for pushing him when he didn't believe in himself. Congratulations, Xavier!
