Workforce Challenge

At a very young age, Vanessa lost her mother to domestic violence. Her father raised her as a single parent, teaching her that a good attitude and conflict resolution skills would help her be successful in life. Once enrolled, she started studying for the TABE test. She took the test and passed on her first attempt. She also completed WorkKeys® at the Silver level. Additionally, Vanessa enrolled at Greenville Technical College where she studied to become a CNA. She worked part-time during the day and took classes at night. She went on to complete training and pass the state exam.
