Terri had been a hairdresser up until COVID hit. She owned her own business but was not able to sustain the business through the prolonged COVID shut down last spring.
Workforce Solution
Terri came to us seeking a whole new direction. Her teenage daughter was old enough to be left alone and Terri had always wanted to be a long-haul truck driver so she asked for WIOA help with paying for the 3 week CDL training course.
Outcomes & Benefits
Terri excelled at the course, got great marks and kudos from the instructors and quickly found a job with one of the major trucking companies out of Denver. She is thrilled to be working again in a reliable, well-paying, and COVID-proof career!
