Maria came to the WFC with her child. She was needing training in a future career as she was not making it in her current part-time jobs.

Due to the fact that I had 4 part-time jobs, it was very difficult for me to meet all the requirements in a timely basis, but the staff at Elbert County WFC were very patient and did what they could to work with me.

"I was finally able to get my CDL A and now, 7 years later, not only am I still driving....but I have purchased my own truck. Going into business for myself!! Thanks to Cynthia and the WFC, this October I will be celebrating my 3rd year as an Owner Operator. I love my career and am very happy as well."
