Workforce Challenge
Linda was 22 years old when she applied for services at the One-Stop in Lincoln. She had completed the first two and a half years of her Bachelor’s Degree, but did not have enough financial resources to continue with her schooling.
Workforce Solution
Linda received tuition assistance and was able to continue earning her degree. Unfortunately, she faced a challenge when she was involved in a car accident and broke her neck just one semester prior to graduating.
If anyone had a good reason to give up and not finish out her training, it was Linda, but she was very determined. Although it took her about two months longer than planned, she finished her clinicals and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Linda currently works full time as a Registered Nurse.
