Jason had been working for himself as a car detailer; however, he was not able to earn enough of a living wage to support his wife and two kids on top of the business expenses.
Workforce Solution
Jason had a goal to obtain his CDL A as there are many local positions and his career assessments supported this decision. Through WIOA funding Jason received tuition and fuel assistance so he was able to attend CDL A courses.
Outcomes & Benefits
Jason obtained his Class A driver's license and he became employed with PepsiCo where he is earning $24/hour and will be better able to support himself and his family.
