The Goodwill grant was brought to my attention by Cynthia, (Elbert County Workforce Center) when I reached out to her seeking assistance buying scrubs and shoes for a job I was offered. I was unemployed and had no income and therefore couldn't afford the proper work attire.

I applied for the Goodwill grant and was accepted!
Outcomes & Benefits
I was able to get scrubs and shoes to begin my new job. I am extremely grateful that this grant is available to people like me that want to get back to work, but do not have the means to do so. It allowed me to get the uniforms needed for the job!
