Gabrielle was a WIOA Youth referral that came from one of our Youth Services Intake Case Workers due to her involvement with the court system and lacking a High School Equivalency (HSE).
Workforce Solution
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth program enrollment took place in February 2020 and 21 days after enrollment, Gabrielle gained her HSE by passing all four HSE tests. Gabrielle was given a diversion sentence in the court, with no charges, as a result of passing three tests prior to her court hearing in late February.
Outcomes & Benefits
Gabrielle is now an HSE obtainer and has been released from the supervision of the judicial system as a result of this success.
