Workforce Challenge
Cari visited the Eastside Workforce center in July, 2009 and qualified for WIA assistance. Her lack of current work experience and workplace skills made it difficult to find employment.
Workforce Solution

Throughout her training, progress checks for Cari indicated she was doing extremely well and was maintaining excellent academic standards and performance levels. During the training program, Cari competed in state competitions and earned a state placement award and a scholarship.

Cari completed training at Metro Technology Center in March 2011. She is now employed at Tinker Air Force Base and is earning $17/hour.
