Recently, Benjamin was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He did very well in the military. He was now concerned that he would not be able to find a reasonable job with good pay and benefits.
Workforce Solution
When he visited SC Works Greenville, Benjamin was accessed by a Veteran Representative and given an OJT referral through WIA. He completed WorkKeys® with a Gold level and soon after, he interviewed with Greenville Water.
Outcomes & Benefits
Benjamin was offered employment as an Operations Technician. After OJT training, his pay increased by 26% plus benefits. He is excited about his opportunities to grow and advance within Greenville Water.
