Workforce Challenge
TANF customer was homeless, living in her car with 2 youth children. Her car needed work, she had a past felony charge, and mental health issues.
Workforce Solution
We assisted customer in applying for Next Step 2 Gen Program and she was approved for housing. She also enrolled in the STEP program and started an internship on 12/7/19 at Family Health West with a $15.00 hourly rate as an IT worker. This customer also enrolled in College and started classes in January.
Outcomes & Benefits
Customer now has her home, her kids in daycare and school and is working. Super busy mom but has come a long way in such a short time.
