Meet Shelley

Workforce Challenge

Shelley Neely was in her late thirties and a single parent of three children. Shelley had never attended college but she wanted to become a teacher and needed to receive a college education to do that. She didn't know where to start or how she would pay for a college education.

Workforce Solution

Shelley was told about Workforce Oklahoma by Kathy West, a counselor at the local technology center. Shelley received occupational skills training for her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Carl Albert State College. Workforce Oklahoma paid for her tuition, fees and books.

Outcomes & Benefits
