JobFit™ reduces CNA turnover by 75 percent

Workforce Challenge

A healthcare provider was looking for a solution to reduce the turnover rate within its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position. The Central Oklahoma WIB determined that by using the JobFit™ assessment the employer could identify potential employees who "fit" the culture and environment of the organization. The JobFit™ survey and job matching profiles have a proven history of improving retention and reducing turnover.

Workforce Solution

A profile of the CNA position was created and all potential candidates for the CNA position completed the JobFit™ assessment. The candidates were matched to the CNA profile and the "best fits" were identified to continue through the interview and hiring process.

Outcomes & Benefits

The retention rate of CNA's improved dramatically and the turnover rate was reduced by 75 percent. The Workforce Area was able to serve as a resource to the healthcare provider's HR department and placed several of the WIB's jobseekers in the CNA positions. The healthcare provider reported a savings of $457,385.00 within six months of the implementation of the JobFit™ System into its hiring process.
