Meet Tracy

Workforce Challenge

Tracy had been employed as a medical scheduler, admission representative and as a restaurant server. She realized her career passion was in the nursing field. She pursued her prerequisites and was accepted into Colorado Mountain College Registered Nursing Program. She contacted the Workforce Center because of her financial need to pay for the nursing program.

Workforce Solution

The Workforce Center was able to assist her financially so she was able to participate in the two year Registered Nursing Program. Tracy was a dedicated student and successfully completed her Registered Nursing Program in May 2016. This was the end of juggling numerous part time and seasonal positions.

Outcomes & Benefits

Tracy landed her dream job in August 2016 as a Registered Nurse in the New Grad Program in the Medical Surgical unit specializing in Cardiology at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver Colorado. Tracy is happily pursuing her career passion as a registered nurse.
