Clear Intentions

Workforce Challenge

Clear Intentions was referred to the Adams County Workforce & Business Center by a partner agency. They are a minority, woman-owned/operated business that diverts glass from landfills and processes it into a high-quality crushed glass. Their product is used in the manufacturing of fiberglass insulation and new glass bottles. Clear Intentions currently has a staff of five, and they are experiencing a rapid amount of growth. The company is looking to expand their workforce in the very near future.

Workforce Solution

Business Service Representatives from the workforce center met with Clear Intentions to inform them of available workforce center services for employers. The president of the company was not familiar with available services, and he was very surprised at the breadth of services available at no cost. Clear Intentions was particularly interested in partnering with the workforce center for job postings, hiring events, on-the-job training opportunities and workforce intelligence information.

Outcomes & Benefits

While they are not ready to hire now, Clear Intentions has established a strong partnership with the workforce center to assist with their workforce needs. In preparation for hiring drivers in the upcoming months, the Adams County Workforce & Business Center provided the employer with a competitive wage analysis, as well as, referrals to other community partners. Clear Intentions expressed their gratitude for all of the information received and stated that they are now better prepared to expand their workforce.
