Workforce Challenge

B Green was a growing company and needed more employees. They had advertised through online websites and job postings and had little success. B Green had participated in other hiring events with some success, but they really wanted something different.

Workforce Solution

To better serve the needs of businesses, the Jefferson County American Job Center (AJC) pre-screened candidates for open positions based on a job description from B Green. After the candidates were screened, AJC staff arranged interviews for all the candidates at B Green's location.

Outcomes & Benefits

B Green was quite excited to experience this new and different process for interviewing and hiring candidates. The fact that the AJC reviewed all candidates and scheduled interview times at their location made a big impression on B Green. It saved the company time and money by not having their staff review all the candidates and they also did not have to travel to the AJC for a hiring event. Out of the seven candidates they interviewed, B Green hired four.
