Despite these challenges he returned to school to obtain his high school diploma. While there, he heard about the Green Jobs Corps Program through a family member.

Workforce Solution

The young man visited a One-Stop office and after further exploration, he felt that the Green Jobs Corps Program could help him overcome many of his barriers. He entered the program and was also co-enrolled into the Summer Youth Program. He was placed with the Orange County Labor Federation for community service work. This eager young man has been enthusiastic about the Green Job Corps Program and participated in all of the Vital Link trainings, being recognized by his instructor as a great student with a drive to learn.
