On her application for the program, Satora indicated that she wanted to obtain training or job skills.

Workforce Solution

After her enrollment, Satora was placed in a work experience opportunity with Homestead Manor Nursing Home in Stamps, AR, as an activities assistant. During an on-site interview about her placement, Satora said she enjoys planning activities for residents, and she gave her case manager a short tour of the nursing home.

Outcomes & Benefits

The nursing home staff said Satora was a conscientious worker and a pleasure to have at their facility. The training and job skills that Satora gained will help prepare her for future work experience and work-readiness.
